Relating to emergency use medications; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Directs Oregon Health Authority to develop triage, treatment and transportation protocols for patients who carry emergency use medications. Allows emergency medical services provider to administer to patient emergency use medication carried by patient.] Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.] Directs Oregon Health Authority to study responses of emergency medical services to rare medical conditions, particularly conditions requiring emergency use medications for treatment. Directs authority to report to committee of Legislative Assembly related to health care not later than February 1, 2020. Sunsets January 2, 2021. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
